What is the best PDA available that can hold and display my Access Databases I have on my desktop computer?

I made an employee database, complete with emeployee photos, in Access on my desk top computer. I am looking for the best available PDA (or really small handheld PC) that I can download this Access database to so that I can use it in the field without carrying a cumbersome laptop computer. PLEASE, someone help me with this! I don't know enough about it to know what I am really doing.

  1. the motorola Q is like a PDA. it has access to email and all that kind of stuff. www.motorola.com just search for the Q
  2. Forget the Q, it is not a true PDA and most Windows Mobile applications will not work with it. Both the Palm and the Windows mobile PDA operating systems have programs you can buy that can use Access Databases. the problem you will encounter is the size of the database. There isn't a lot of room in a PDA even with the largest ones. You may also find difficulty finding a database that can handle both data AND Photos in a PDA. I think you are going about this all wrong, instead of asking for 'Which PDA', you need look for a PDA application program that will meet your needs and then look for a PDA that will run that application. that way you will know how much memory you will need, etc. One such application you could look at is HanDbase. It was originally just for the Palm OS, but it looks like the web page now mentions a Windows Mobile version as well.
