How far is Vista compatible with other operating systems?
e.g.if someone using Vista sends an email to someone who uses any of the following: Operating Systems: XP,Microsoft 2000 and Microsoft 98(2nd edn); also, vice versa.

- Windows mail in Vista is 100% compatible with all other systems because it is a standard, usually HTML, which is the language of the Internet.
- Emails are not os dependant and the files made with Word, Works, Excell, etc are dependant on the program not the OS so you will have no more problems with files created under Vista not working on other machines than you have had in the past.
