How does the operating system communicate with the systems hardware to perform lowlevel I/O operations?
Looking for a specific word or phrase, not looking to get a lecture. This is actually an operating systems question.. I think it is the: low-level schedular or dispatcher which basically mean the same thing i found the answer it is actually the "BIOS"
