property management online application?
Suppose you are a landlord who travels alot around the world, and you own several small/medium real estates or condos in different cities/countries, each one having its own manager. There are different types of buildings, with appartments (from 10 to 100 each, some rented, some sold), little retail stores, parking, maintenance rooms, etc. What online application (and database) would you use (and your managers - they input all data) for your property management, so that anywhere you are, you can maintain a good control, know at any time what you own exactly (each building may have different types of facilities, instalations, furniture, interior design, etc, which may change over time), who your tennants are, any problems that occur, and have at any time detailed reports on your revenues (see which buildings/appartments are more or less profitable and have better occupancy over time) and expenses (maintenance, cleaning, repairs for each building).

- There are a number of programs with the functionality you are describing. My favorite is Yardi (www.yardi.com). It is very scalable, and can be used for multiple product types.
