Application for management level?
im interested in applying for an asst mgr position in my company. presently my designation is a cust svc officer. i believe my performance are average. usually appln for a mgmt position requires an individual is based on excellent performance. im conscious to apply for the position fearing that im not qualified enough. i have no prior experience in my previous jobs in managing a team. so i think my chances are not so good. what should i write in my letter of application of why i want to apply for this position? or do you feel i should just drop the idea of apply? any advise are greatly appreciated!

- before applying, you might want to first sound out some of the people around and above you about what they think of your potential, ideas about how you could move up, stuff like that, rather than simply filling out a form and sending it in cold
