Do you use a good auction management application like Shooting Star?

I like Shooting Star, but I can't justify the $120 cost of the program for the small amount of auctions that I do. At the rate I sell stuff on eBay, it'd take me six months to pay for the software. Are there other programs that do what Shooting Star does -- edits listings, tracks sales, prints invoices, posts feedback, etc.? I know all of this can be done through eBay directly, but that history expires, eventually, and it's time consuming to do it through the web site.

  1. I'm not sure about other software but Ebay has an API which means they expose their functionality so programmers can make applications. That may only be as helpful if you understand programming. In that case, you could download .NET express edition and do some of your own coding with Ebay's API.
